Christiana Tai, MD

Dr. Tai was born on the East Coast and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended UC Berkeley and received her MD and MPH from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. She then completed pediatric residency at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland followed by pediatric cardiology fellowship at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital San Francisco in 2019. Following fellowship, she received further subspecialty training in preventive cardiology, and fetal and transesophageal imaging. Her special interests are in fetal research and intervention, fetal and general pediatric cardiology, advanced imaging and health disparities. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Spanish. She enjoys true crime podcasts, cooking, and spending time with her daughter.
